Born 14th of October 1801 Brussels and Died 15th of September 1883 Belgium, Joseph Antonie Ferdinand Plateau was a Belgian physicst and mathematician whose researched on visual perception laid the foundations of film, television and animated gifs. He invented a device called a phénakistiscope, which created the illusion of a moving image. He was one of the first people to create an illusion of pictures in motion using the the device he invented which was the phénakistiscope, which was made in 1832. Which was the traditional way of creating animation.
John Barnes Linnet -1868
Born in Austrey, Warwickshire 1831 and later died of pneumonia , John Barnes Linnet was a British lithograph printer based in Brimingham, England. He was the first to invent flip book animation using only traditional art such as pencil, paper and clips. It was a simple design using just only one technology which was printing. A lithograph is a printing originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. The printing is from a stone or metal plate with with a smooth surface. It was invented in 1796 by a German author and actor Alois Senefelder as a cheap a method of publishing theatrical works. Now during the present days we still use flip book animation with traditional methods such as using paperclip, paper and pencil. It is one of the easiest and cheapest way to create animation.
Hugh Harman - 1903

Hugh Harman (August 31st, 1903 - November 25 1982) was an American animator know for creating the Warner Bros (Looney tunes). Cartoons and MGM Cartoons and his collaboration with Rudolf Ising during the golden age of American animation. With his animations, he uses traditional methods using camera paper and pencil to air his own cartoon shows back in the time. His huge successor of cartoons were; The Bugs Bunny Show, The Road Runner Show, Tom and Jerry and The Porky Pig Show.

Seth Woodbury MacFarlane (Born on October 26, 1973) is an American actor, animator, writer, producer, director, comedian and singer. MacFarlane is the creator of the big successful TV series Family Guy which aired 1999 - present, The Orville 2017 - present, the co-creator of the TV series American Dad! (2005 -present) and The Cleveland Show (2009 - 2013). He also wrote, directed and started in the writing of the successful movies such as Ted (2012), its sequel Ted 2 (2015) and A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014). For his animations he traditional and non - traditional methods such as using the computer digitally to publish and air the film and putting the animation in pieces, and the traditional method for drawing the sets such as the characters, props and backgrounds etc. There was this one episode in Family guy where they nearly broke the 4th wall which they called over to the animators to see what ever the hell is going on up there in the studio. I don't remember the episode but it was quite funny.
Shuichi Shigeno - 1985

Shigeno Shuichi or Shuichi Shigeno born March 8, 1958 is a Japanese manga artist famous for illustrating Initial D and MF Ghost. He has also created Baribari Densetsu, Dopkan and Tunnel Nuketara Skyblue ("First Love in Summer") all prior to the manga that would make him famous in 1995. He was awarded the Kodansha Manga Award in shonen for Bari Bari Densetsu in 1985. For the initial D illustrations he did he created the three triology movies which were Legend 1, Legend 2 and Legend 3. The only shows that was aired on was 1st stage until 5th stage. Early in the beginning of the series, his studio uses traditional technology to create his show for the series. They also use non-traditional methods for the cgi, props such as for the cars. Because the budget at that time was fairly limited and the show wasn't that popular during the time.
Edds Gould - 1988

Edds Gould (Also known as Ewdward Duncan Ernest Gould) was Born in 28th October then died 25th March 2012 was a British animator, artist, writer, actor, voice actor, and director. He was known for creating Eddsworld, a media franchise consisting of Flash animations and webcomics featuring fictionalised versions of himself and long collaborators Thomas Ridgewell, Matt Hargreaves and others. After Gould's death in 2012, production of Eddsworld was passed on to Ridge ell and later Hargreaves. With his work he uses modern technology and uses non traditional methods to design his characters. He uses a digital tablet and a computer to create and animate them. Then later on he voice acts just using his microphone with a help from his studio team and friends. The sound affects were made by his own team and the music is made from different Talented people.
