Designing the rocket

For the rocket task, we first had to design and create our own rocket using adobe illustrator. This task was an easy task for me because I am already experienced of creating things from my mental mind for the illustrator task. For me, I created a big rocket because why not so I used the line shape tool to create the lines and the star tool to create for a flag or logo for the rocket. After when that was done, I then created planets, on adobe illustrator. The blue planet was to resemble for earth and the red planet is mars. After when I finished all of the things I needed to draw in adobe illustrator, I then imported them into adobe animate. Once I imported into the animate software, I then converted all of them into symbols so when I am using the image for animating them, the layers wont mess up as it is all grouped together. Once I finished all of the stuff I needed to do, I followed the step by step tutorial process on Doug TV. The animation part was easy to do, but doing all the keyframes became quite stressful to me, but I got hang of it. I also experimented with scaling and rotating the object. Mostly the main animated part was the rocket. The story line for this animation practical experiment was a rocket blasting off from Earth, pulling into high orbit and going off to an trajectory. I resize the earth and resized the rocket mostly for the trajectory. I also rotated the rocket to go around the orbit. For this overall project, in my opinion I found it fun and stressful. I hope that I can improve it better for my final Muybridge animation.

What went well and what needs to be improved

The most things that went well was the design of the rocket and the animation. Some parts of the animation were a bit funky, and the design of the sky and the planets kind of looked bland and simple. Maybe if I added some clouds in to make it feel like the rocket is actually going fast vertically.
