On my first task, I was set to do some portraits with a style of AndyWarhol using photoshop. I was inspired by one of Andy's work which was the "6 portraits of Marilyn Monroe" which was one of his most popular art pieces, so I decided to adapt it and come up with my own version of the style of what he did with his own art work. With my own style of Andy's work, it was set up in a non-traditional way as I did it digitally on the computer using an editing software.

The tools and how I used them: The tools I used on photo were the magic wand tool which was to select different parts of the areas, a lasso tool just like the magic wand to but you can draw the lines and create your own area with it and the bucket tool which was to fill the colour of the spaces within the area where I created with the lasso tool.
Using these three tools, I experimented with ranging using different colours in the same area.

Tutorial:
For my first task of my AndyWarhol Project, I first created an A3 image and dragged my original photo in another layer in photoshop. I named the layer 1 and add another layer for tracing. I also added another layer for the background for the colour as well.
When that was all finished the next thing I did was to change the colour to black and white. I first went to image then adjustments then finally to threshold to change what ever settings to the brightness that I liked. I chose the setting somewhere around 121 because I can see some of the proportions of my body quite clearly.
This image below, shows the result of what the outcome of what it looked like.

After when I changed the contrast of the image I then went to select all the white areas with the "wand tool" for the colour of my background and to change some of the areas of my body. Once that was finished I then filled the colour of the background to what ever colour I like that was in the style of AndyWarhol. I then repeated the same process with the lasso tool for my hair, jacket, t shirt and my eyes. I experimented with a range of simple bold looking colours to make it stand out and appeal the look of it.
The picture below me is the full result of the 6 images that I played with different colours. The colour scheme looks as simple, bright and bold like as AndyWarhol.

Content, my own thoughts and mood and atmosphere:
In my opinion of the outcome, I thought that it was a bit strange and weird because the picture it self looked distorted and unrealistic but I did like some of the work that I made. For example I liked the one with the green hair and the blue jacket because it reminded me of that main character in my hero academia. Who is called "Izuku Midoriya" or "Deku" for short. I was unsatisfied with the eye colour change because it made me felt uncomfortable the way the eyes glares at me. I mean all the picture has the same face and mood but different colour and atmosphere. I think each of the different colours gives a different meaning of the person who you really are and the feeling of the aura around that person. For example with the purple and dark blue background for me it gives me a haunting and a sinister look.
All of the work in here was inspired by AndyWarhol and I think I can now understand why and how I feel the same way as Andy created his original work of Marilyn. The only way that the art it self that attracts me is the sensational aura of the feeling of each different colours that are represented and displayed of the art work.
The extension task
For the extension task I worked on the same similar style of creating Andy Warhol's portrait task. This time however, I can choose any characters that I like wherever that is a fictional character or a non fictional character. It can be either a celebrity as well. The non-fictional characters that I chose were Keiichi Tsuchiya who is the drift king in Japan, Jeremy Clarkson and the fictional characters I chose were, PrincessPeach, Mako Sato from initial d (Japanese cartoon show), Mob from mob psycho 100 (Japanese cartoon show) and Takumi Fujiwara form initial d. With some of the other works such as Senna Artyon, I imitated with AndyWarhol's work with the style of "death" or "darkness". With these characters I chose from (edit)
