There was this news paper article about a Vintage Spitfire that flew again, which was featured in the battle of Britain film. It was a 1:1 replica of a spitfire that had nearly all of its original parts and was sold for 4.5 million pounds. It also included the two flying officer aces in the article as well. The Officer Desmound Ruchwaldy and Squadron leader Henri Gonay. Who were both of the examples of the spitfire aces during that time. My father gave this newspaper for me to continue further to add on this research and it was very helpful of him so I could know more information about the topic of the Spitfire, Battle of Britain and the aces. We went to the RAF Museum at Duxford to see the model in person and it was quite the remark to see it in display.
