High Pitch Document (Starter Guide)

Remember that the High Pitch document is to be used as a sales pitch for your game and should be thought of like giving a CV before going to the interview. A full game treatment is then designed once you have been able to secure a meeting with a Publisher / Investor.

The document should usually be no more than 2 – 4 pages in length and take no more than 10 minutes to read. If the high pitch document is any longer then a producer is less likely to want to read it.

The title and your name should appear at the top of the document followed immediately by the text. Remember that the most important material must appear on the first page.

Title – Magical Girl Nicky

Game overview – MagicalGirl Nicky is a game that where Nicky goes on a journey to recruit his team and defeat the big bad.

Power ups, combos, support team.

Avoid letting the feature list run onto the next page. Avoid more than 10 bullet points in a row otherwise; the mass of text can discourage the reader.

The console for this game that I would like to appear on is mobile, switch and pc.

Further details – You can include additional material to this section that you feel the reader might enjoy about your game and any additional artwork that you feel might be relevant to the story arc. Remember not to go over the document limit.

Story Arc: One day there was this unkown god, sitting in a white and dull room. Bored and nothing to do. Then a goddess approached the god and said, "hey why not create a wonderful world." The god thought of an idea and agreed to it. But once they finished and created the world the god became bored again and left the goddess. He walked away without her knowing but left a note saying. "I'm going to destroy this world for fun and why? cause i'm bored." The goddess noticed the letter. During when the (customised character) was coming home from school he/she saved his friends from hitting him/her self by a on coming truck. Once the (customised character) awakened, he/she was in a uhhh... waiting room? Where there was three doors. The door from the left opened. The goddess walked towards him beautifully and asked him/her for help. The goddess explain what was the god going to do and gave him/her magical powers that will be able to stop this god. Then he/she was transported to that new world that they created. He/she will now fullfil the goddess's mission with the help of his/her friends.
