Blender - Coilovers

henlo bois today we making coilover for your epic ricemobile

wait how do i make them agian

ok so we using this as a reference imagie for our coilover

alright so once we in blender we delete cube and insert circle with exactly 8 vertices

Now we add the screw modifier because screw

we import our background image to get the size of the spring

and now we should move it to the edge because

i said so

now we add screw modifier and make it so whatever axis goes with the spring is chosen

for me thats the y-axis

this isnt a screw yet

nope we change the screw to the angle of elevation we want

and now we add more literations

just adjust it till you get srping

spring

now we insert another circle with like 16 vertices

and we use the Blueprints to make the shocks

actually add 18 vertices im retarded

now we have a semi ok shock

if you did it properly using 18 vertices you can selct 3 vertices 3 times with even spacing to make epic

use s to size it out

like this

just fix it

im not teaching you how to uv map this

its pretty rubbish tutorial but it should be help with basic making

pinned top

ok so lets make the rear coilover

same stuff

use the shit you had before

you should get some pretty ok results

they are mostyl going to be hidden so they will look epic in your car
